Congratulations to Cael Johnson on his senior signing to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln!
Cael plans to pursue a future in the healthcare field and is exploring which major best fits his goals. During his time at Pawnee City, Cael has been involved in football, basketball, speech, one-act and many other activities. He will also be earning his CNA certification this year!

Quinn will be joining the Electrical Program and has also taken advantage of dual credit opportunities and will graduate high school with an SCC Welding Certificate. Quinn was recently awarded the Walter Scott Jr. Career Pathway Scholarship at SCC! Such an incredible accomplishment!

SCC dual credit Intro to Psychology students took a field trip on Friday to the Glore Psychiatric Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri!
The museum offered a fascinating timeline of mental health treatment throughout history and gave students a unique look at how approaches have evolved over the years. Definitely an interesting and eye opening experience!





Last week, Kailey Hartman attended the Attorney General’s Youth Conference. At this conference, she heard from Attorney General Mike Hilgers, Governor Jim Pillen, Nebraska Supreme Court Justice Derek Vaughn, and Senator Carolyn Bosn. Students also engaged with bureau chiefs of several different bureaus in the Nebraska Attorney General's Office and members of the Solicitor General team. Attendees gathered in the Warner Legislative Chamber to participate in a mock bill debate and spent the day discussing topics related to government, law, and consumer protection. We are proud of you Kailey! Thanks for representing PC so well!

Our PC Band & Choir will be heading to JCC for the District Music Contest starting to 9AM.

Congrats to Madelyn Osborne on her senior signing with SCC Lincoln! She’ll be entering the Health Sciences program before transitioning into the Physical Therapy Assistant program. While still in high school, she’s also working toward her CNA certification which is an incredible accomplishment. Madelyn has been involved in a variety of activities, including volleyball and basketball, and we’re so proud of all she’s achieved. Good luck!!

We would like to thank Sycamore Springs for an amazing day! The Pawnee City middle school students were able to spend the day fishing, skating, hiking, sand volleyball, basketball, Pickleball/tennis courts, putt-putt golf, wagon rides, a playground, and petting zoo!
The Grimm family made this day so much fun for all! We appreciate their hospitality and we will definitely visit again!
