Our 8th grade students had an incredible day visiting University of Nebraska Omaha and the LOVB Nebraska facility. At UNO, they learned about academic programs, housing options, and even enjoyed a great meal in the dining hall.
Our career stop at LOVB was truly one of a kind—students toured the professional facility, training areas, and athletic training spaces, and heard from Karisa Malchow who is the VP of Marketing. She told the students about her journey from collegiate athlete to her current role. She encouraged our students to build mental toughness, show grit, and never be afraid to take chances.
A great day of learning and inspiration! This opportunity was made possible by the 8th Grade Visit Grant through EducationQuest.
