Food Truck results from Mrs. Lori Gyhra's Marketing students: Staff members ranked overall look, feel, and display, taking into consideration the mission statement, menu design logo, slogan and color scheme. Staff pick was Trey Marteney & Tyler Tegtmeier's Mac Truck. Tied for 2nd place were Drew Menninga & Garrett Duryea's Burrito Bus and Wyatt Blank & Norman McHenry's Bustin Bombers truck. Coming in 3rd was Cael Johnson & Quinn Friedly's Bakers Heaven truck. Staff members were also able to vote for their favorite Look/Feel/Display, Favorite Food and Best Overall Color Scheme/Decor. The winners in those categories were: Look/Feel/Display = Wyatt and Norman Favorite Food = Drew and Garrett Best Overall Color Scheme/Decor = Trey and Tyler The high school and elementary students voted as well for the best food truck, with Wyatt and Norman's Busting Bombers winning by a landslide by all students with a patriotic theme and the slogan "Big enough to feed an army." Nice job marketing students!

The Pawnee City School Board Meeting scheduled for this evening (1/8/24) has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 17 at 6:00 PM due to weather.

Members of the sixth grade leadership wrapped up their final project by helping the city with the Angel Tree Project! The students advertised the project, communicated with city officials and helped organize the gifts! Good work, kids! Have a great break!






Elf Stem Activity
UNL Extention presented an activity with the kindergarten class to construct a way to get a ball into a cup. Students worked together to problem solve a way to use tubes to direct a ball into an elf cup.

Today the high school choir was able to sing some carols at the assisted living in town. We're so fortunate to have residents nearby and the kids did a wonderful job choosing and leading the carols! 🎶
