Concert info for next week:

Swinging into track season!

Have a great day, everyone!

Thank you Howard Blecha for presenting to the elementary yesterday about your mission trips to Africa. It was neat to show a window to a different part of the world and our students enjoyed your presentation!

It was our first trip to Creighton University for a college visit and was great! Top notch academics and a 11:1 student to teacher ratio!
Did you know that PC teacher, Julie Pierce is an alum of Creighton University?

Last week the elementary students had their March PBIS rally. Mr. Sejkora hosted and reviewed expectations for the hallway & recess. Also, thank you Miss Coral, Miss Beth, and Mr. Simon for being such good sports. They agreed to be pied in the face by the class with the most items collected for the leadership food drive in March. Go Kindergarten!

Congratulations to the high school Band and Choir on each earning straight 1's from all their judges and receiving Superior plaques at MUDECAS music contest! Their next performance is April 8 at South Park.

Families, as you plan your summer entertainment, check out these options right here in PC at the VanHorne Amphitheater: https://bit.ly/3YdvbM7

Congratulations to Jett, Anthony, Atreyu, and Kinsley on their All Conference Basketball honors!

Thank you Megan Buckley from the Johnson and Pawnee County Emergency Management Agency for giving a presentation to our elementary students for Severe Weather Awareness Week! ⛅️

SCC registration will begin soon! Here are a couple reminders about the process. Interested students will meet with Mrs. Lisa Blecha two times. The first meeting is to decide what classes the student would like to take and the second meeting is for the registration process. Please remind your student to be checking their email!
Registration starts on April 7! If your student has taken dual credit classes in the past, please make sure that your bill is paid as the student will not be able to register until that is done.
Thanks to the generosity of the Pawnee City Education Foundation, many of our students earn multiple college credit hours at little or no cost to them. Please ask Mrs. Lisa Blecha for information on how to earn scholarships or receive reimbursements.
Don't forget that we offer dual credit welding and also a CNA course! With these certifications, student will be able to enter the industry right away!

Tonight is the night! Sophomores and sophomore parents, please join us in the lunchroom at 6:00 for the SCC Dual Credit Informational Night! Dinner will be provided. There will be a presentation and time for applications. Please have your student bring their computer and social security number. The counseling office does not keep the social security number on file, but they are required as part of the application.
We are looking forward to seeing you!

We are proud of senior, Adrian deKoning for earning more stamps in her Senior Passport! She earned stamps for applying for scholarships, writing a letter of advice to a freshman and also completing her FAFSA! Graduation will be here before we know it!
