On September 25, the Pawnee City Indians face the Diller-Odell Griffins in a home game. Unfortunately, the Indians lost with a score of 49-0.

When asked about the game, Coach Brumbaugh replied, “I feel the boys did their best.  It is difficult to play a football game without any subs. I am extremely proud of the boys who finished the game. I feel the kids didn't give up.  No matter who was on the field, we were doing our best.”

“That is what we talk about all the time.” Coach Brumbaugh continued. “In order to get better, we have to try and never give up because, at times, that is what is easy. I need to improve at getting the younger players more reps.  It seems every game something happens this season and they are called to the field.  With limited reps we are limited on what we can do successfully.  With more reps, they would be more comfortable and we could try running more plays.”

The next game is on October 2 against the Lewiston Tigers. Go big red!
