On Thursday, February 19, the junior high team plays against Falls City Public at home. The A team won 40-17. The leading scorers were Aubrey Sisco with 28, followed by Emma Turnbull with eight, and finally Vanessa Gottula and Riley Strehle each with two.
When asked what the team did well, Coach Jacobs stated, "I thought we played our zone defense pretty well. We moved and covered when needed. We still could rebound better."
When asked how the players did as individuals, Emma Turnbull stated, "Something I did well as an individual was communicating where the shooter is on defense; something I could work on for the next game is being more talkative on offense."
Their next game is at Falls City Sacred Heart on February 26.
