On January 29, 2026, the junior varsity boys compete against Falls City Public at home. Pawnee City won with the final score of 26-23.
The team was asked what they did well, what they need to work on, and what their individual/team goals are for the end of this season. Payton Rose replied, “Something the team did well was how our ball movement improved drastically. Our team needs to work on stronger passes. My individual goal is to increase my rebounds per game, and our team goal is to have the ability to play as a team.”
Braydon Frakes commented, “We passed the ball around how the coach wanted us to. We need to work on stronger passes and playing more like a team. Our goal is to be able to play more as a team, but my personal goal is to be able to score more points and to pass the ball more often.”
The JV team will play their last game of the season at home on Friday, February 20. Good luck, boys!
