The yearbook staff wants to highlight local businesses in Pawnee City, NE, so I chose to write about True Value. Ethan Petrashek has been the store manager for seven years, and I interviewed him to gather more information about the business.
In the interview with Ethan, I asked who the owner of True Value is, how long has it been in business, and what some of the challenges are. Ethan stated, "Steve Glenn is the owner of two True Values, one in Hickman and one in Pawnee City. I believe they have been in business for 25 years. Some of the challenges faced are finding suitable locations for people and securing enough assistance when needed."
In the future, Ethan wants to introduce some new products to the store for customers to try. Some of the best-selling products are water softeners, mulch, and products nobody else sells.
