On Friday, December 5, the junior varsity girls played Frankfort, Kansas, at home. The Indians won with a score of 20-13 following their win against Diller-Odell the night before. Leading in scoring that night were Kailyn Jensen and Emily Koester with five, and Taelyn Blecha with four.
When asked what she could improve on before the next game, Denielle Gyhra stated, "One thing I can get better at is looking up when being pressured as I dribble the ball. As a team, we need to improve at making better choices, especially when we are leading. We need to calm down and not rush a shot, as we would if we were behind. We led the entire game to the end, where it got rocky because we were rushing everything. That's when we need to calm down, when there isn't that much time left on the clock."
Their next game will be against Parkview Christian in Lincoln on December 12.
