On Friday, December 5, the junior varsity boys play Frankfort, KS, at home. The Indians lost with a score of 15-23. The leading scorers were Payton Rose with eight, followed by Jordan Wernimont with four, then Braydon Frakes with two, and finally Liam Glathar with one. There was a C team game for one quarter; unfortunately, the Indians lost with a score of 4-6. The leading scorers were both Jaiden Howard and Paxton Binder, each with two points.
When asked what the team could get better at before the next game, Coach Craig stated, "I would like to see us running a more efficient offense. Cutting hard to the rim and getting each other open are some things on that side of the floor we can improve on."
When asked what he did well as an individual, Liam Glathar commented, "As an individual, I did not have the best game. I didn't score too much, and I really only made plays on the defensive side of the ball. Something I can improve on for the next game is making passes that help us score, such as passing it to a big player or passing it to someone who is cutting."
Their next game will be at Parkview Christian on December 12.
