With the yearbook staff focusing on local businesses, I had the pleasure of visiting Kyle's Service Center, a trusted local auto repair shop that is making a significant impact in our community. I spoke with his wife, Mary, who shared the inspiring story behind the business. Kyle’s journey began after being laid off by Volvo. He started working for his uncle, Nick and Renee, and when his former employer asked him to return, Kyle chose to stay, honoring a promise with his uncle: if he stayed, he could eventually run the business. Today, Kyle’s Service Center operates as an LLC purchased from his uncle, continuing a family legacy of dedication and hard work.

Over the years, Kyle’s Service Center has grown alongside the community. “Eleven years ago, we moved to our current location.” Mary shared. “With a bigger space, we can accommodate more employees, service more vehicles, and better serve our customers.”

What sets Kyle’s Service Center apart? “There aren’t many mechanics in the area, and we take pride in offering exceptional customer service,” Mary explained. “We also work closely with customers who may be facing financial challenges, making sure everyone leaves with their car running safely.”

We appreciate Kyle’s Service Center and Mary Gottula for taking the time to allow the Pawnee City yearbook staff to interview them.
