The yearbook staff wants to highlight some of the local businesses this year. The business I interviewed was the State Bank of Table Rock, and I spoke with Jeff Fink. In the interview, I discovered many things about this bank.
For starters, the State Bank of Table Rock has been in business since 1885. This bank has 6 branches, one in Pawnee City, Table Rock, DuBois, Tecumseh, Humboldt, and Roca. Mr. Fink said that the Pawnee City bank has 5 employees. This bank also offers a range of services, including deposit accounts, auto loans, home loans, and farm loans.
I asked what an average workday would look like for Mr. Fink, and he commented that he arrives at 6:30. Throughout the day, he processes loan applications, talks with customers, and concludes his day at 4:00. He stated that some important skills required for this profession are good communication and proficiency with numbers.
At the end of the interview, I asked if there was anything else he wanted us to know about the State Bank of Table Rock. He said the bank is locally owned and has been around for a very long time.
