On October 22, the junior high volleyball team plays against the Sterling Jets in their final game of the season. The A-team finished their match in three sets, with Pawnee City winning the first and third. The B-team was defeated in two sets.
When asked how she and her team performed, Emma Turnbull replied, “Something I did well was staying calm when serving. As a team, I think we could have improved by talking more about what's going on on the other side of the court.”
To the previous question, Aubrey Sisco added, “I think that I did a good job of blocking and passing. I think we could also improve our serve receive.”
Over the course of the season, the A-team finished their season with six wins and eight losses.
