The high school football team plays Sterling on October 10 for their Homecoming game. The Indians had home-field advantage and took full advantage of it, winning 50-24. 

Atreyu Kling scored four touchdowns, and Dylan Layne and  Payton Rose each scored one touchdown. Cael Johnson scored eight extra points after touchdowns.  

Dawson Wilkinson had the most tackles with nine solo tackles and four assists. Following was Atreyu Kling, who recorded six solo tackles and ten assists, and Tyler Tegtmeier, with four solo tackles and six assists. Close behind him was Cael Johnson, who had three solo tackles and two assists.   

When asked what the team did well, Coach Brumbaugh stated, “The team did much better on defense. We are trying to fix some of our mental breakdowns that we have through the game. We limited them in this game to just a few, but we still need to continue to improve on not letting the opponent get first downs when we have them at third and long.”
