On September 29, Pawnee City’s junior varsity volleyball team takes on the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds and the Sterling Jets in a home triangular. The Indians took home two wins, beating both teams in two sets, ending the junior varsity season.
When asked how the team played, Emalyse Gottula commented that they played pretty well as a team, but they could have played up to their standards more. All in all, it was a good junior varsity season. When asked the same, Ashlyn Puhalla stated that the team came together and played well, with serving and defense also being exceptional.
