Pawnee City welcomes Mrs. Stephanie Bartels as our new Ag Teacher. When asked what she did before this job, she stated,“I worked in Otoe County 4-H for a year and a half before coming here.”
When she was asked what brought her to Pawnee City, she answered,” My husband student taught with Mr. Bloss two years ago. Mr. Bloss called me after he had made his decision to leave, and I was looking to teach in a classroom.” She had not taught before moving here, but she does have her degree in Agriculture Education. “I was interested in teaching in high school and completed a year-long SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) where I helped teach the junior high Ag class. It helped solidify my decision to go into education.”
Mrs. Bartels lives outside of Tecumseh with her husband, who is the Ag teacher at Johnson County Central. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Stephanie Bartels!
