The new Superintendent at Pawnee City Schools this year is Todd Evans. Mr. Evans has been a Superintendent for an impressive 12 years, though this year is his first in Nebraska. He chose to come to Pawnee City Schools because he saw that it's a school district that encourages greatness in academics, the arts, and extracurricular activities. Pawnee City Schools impressed him with how well-rounded it is.
Mr. Evans was in education for many years before becoming a Superintendent. He was an English teacher for six years and was also a principal. He was principal over grades 9-12 for 15 years and over grades 7-12 for two years. When asked if he always wanted to be a Superintendent, Mr. Evans said no. As a younger man, he never saw himself in education; he actually planned to work in business management, which is somewhat similar.
Mr. Evans has an active and happy home life. He’s been married to his wife, Briana, for 26 years, and they have two sons together. His wife works as a counselor in Sabetha, KS. His oldest son, Kaleb, works as a lineman in Kansas, and his younger son, Kalvin, is a student at Benedictine College.
