The junior high team goes against Dorchester on Monday, September 8, in their first home game. The Indians lost with a score of 24-47. Cade Johnson scored all 24 points for the Indians. He had three running touchdowns and one interception for a return of 55 yards.
When Jase Brumbaugh was asked what he felt the team did well during the game, he answered, “We never gave up and did not complain.” He was also asked how they prepared for the game and what they need to improve for the next game. He stated, “We ran our plays nonstop and worked drills all the time. We need to work on covering passes.”
When Jace Rauner was asked the same questions, he said, “I feel like we need to work on being more aggressive, and we need to practice our plays more.”
The next game is scheduled for Monday, September 22, in Lincoln against Parkview Christian.
