On Friday, September 5, the volleyball team plays against Dorchester for its first home game of the year. The girls lost the first two sets with scores of 16-25 and 19-25. The Indians came back and won the next two with a score of 25-10 and 25-16, but unfortunately lost the fifth set with a score of 9-15.
When asked what the team could work on to win in tight situations, Mrs. Amundson stated, “Working on staying focused from 0-0 in set 1, while also closing out tough games, would be important to work on. Being able to play at a high level even when we’re in challenging situations.”
The girls will play again on September 11 at Falls City Public.
