On Tuesday, March 18, the college credit Psychology class goes on a field trip to the Psychiatric Museum in St. Joe. When asked about the trip, Lisa Blecha stated, “We took a field trip to the Glore Psychiatric Museum. This museum was in a state mental hospital that has been converted into a museum. The museum is set up like a timeline; we can walk through each exhibit and better understand different mental health treatment methods and how they have changed over time. We also had a session all about stress and what it can do to the body and mind.”
When asked about the college class, Mrs. Blecha commented, “The college credit class is Intro to Psychology. We learn about various topics such as personality, nurture vs nature, environment, theories, stress, decision-making process, and motivation."
