Nico Melgar Staroverov, son of Juan Carlos Melgar and Mouza Staroverova, is a part of the class of 2024. Nico has one sibling, Katherine Melgar. He is one of the foreign exchange students this year, and his host parents are Julie and Charlie Pierce. His host siblings include Cara who is a junior, Justin who is a senior, and Alyssa who graduated in 2022.
Since being at Pawnee City, Nico has participated in basketball and One-Act. As for the spring activities, he plans on participating in speech and track. Some of his hobbies outside of school are basketball, hanging out with friends, and going to concerts.
After graduation, he plans to go back to Spain to study International Relations at the College of Madrid to become a diplomat.
