On January 4, the varsity girls basketball team plays a game at home against Johnson-Brock. The final score of the game was 65-17 with the Indians losing. The team members who scored were Emalyse Gottula and Hallye Friedly with 4 points each; Adelyn Sisco, Ericca Gyhra, Kinsley Benson, and Breonna Gyhra all with 2 points; and Cameron Ottersberg with 1 point.
When asked about the game, Mr. Kluck said, “I thought we played well this game, despite the final score getting a bit out of hand. After the first quarter, our team had adapted and figured out how to beat their press. We shot above our season average and actually got quite a few good looks offensively. It was our highest percentage shooting game of the season so far, and it's impressive the fact that it came against a team that's a state champion caliber team.”
