On Friday, December 1, the Pawnee City basketball teams play their first home game against Frankfort, KS. The girls junior varsity players were defeated 37-27. Following their loss at home, the girls defeated Parkview Christian on the Patriots' home court!
The boys JV was also defeated with a score of 33-14. Coach Cory Horejs said, “Our strength for the night was being able to get to the rim and get rebounds that night. Frankfort was extremely tall compared to us, but we did a really good job getting to the boards and getting rebounds.”
The teams play again in Linn, KS, on December 18.
