Mr. Don Jacobs has taken on a new position at Pawnee City Public High School. He teaches sixth- and seventh-grade history as well as middle school Special Education. Mr. Jacobs graduated from Morrill High School and then started college at Nebraska Western Community College. When asked if he enjoys Pawnee City, he said, “I have enjoyed Pawnee City for the past 12 years we have been here. It is quiet and peaceful.”
When questioned why he decided to teach here, he responded, "I took the job as the principal 12 years ago and have never left. I am waiting to retire.” Mr. Jacobs has taught at schools other than our high school. He has taught at schools in Gering, Nebraska; Lake Minatare, Nebraska; and Arcadia, Nebraska.
Mr. Jacobs is appreciated for putting in his time and effort for so many years at our school and in his new position.
