On September 19, students attend a college fair in Beatrice at Southeast Community College. The students who went were Logan Maloley, Jesse McLaughlin, and Isaac Seitz with Mrs. Lisa Blecha. When asked if this was the first time Pawnee City has gone, Mrs. Blecha said, “This was our first time attending a college fair this large. The event is sponsored by NACRAO, Nebraska Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.” There were about 45 colleges that attended this college fair.
When asked if Mrs. Blecha would be doing this again she replied, “I think that we will go again; I received good feedback from the kids! It will be interesting to get their feedback on this large college fair vs. our college fair on Apply2College Day.”
The next college event will be Apply2College Day on October 11.
