The band marches in the Richardson County Parade on Friday Sept. 15. This was the band's last parade of the season, and they marched and played their best. The band’s drum major for the parade was Kennadi Benson. When asked how they thought the parade went, senior Emma Meints replied, “I think the parade went well. We could do better with our steps, but everyone seemed to do a really good job playing and marching.”
Senior Hallye Friedly has been marching for four years. According to her, “I think my favorite song is definitely Smoke on the Water. It's just a really fun song with fun rhythms.”
