Junior High Football

On September 19, the junior high football team plays a game at home against JCC.

When asked what the team could improve on for the next game, Gauge Schuetz said,  “We could improve on going forward on offense and not backward. We also need to figure out not to fumble and not get as many penalties.” Although the game’s final score was 20-52 in favor of the Thunderbirds, most of the boys said that they still felt good about how their team played and how they improved from the last game.

Payton Rose commented, “I was proud that our team wanted to come out and fight in the second half, pumping each other up, getting each other mad, getting locked in and stopping them. We were doing it all, but of course, there is room for improvement.”

The boys will play again on October 2 at Weeping Water.
