The cross country team runs in the JCC Invite on Friday, Sept. 1. Even though it was a harder meet, most of the junior high students improved their time from the last meet. The junior high team includes Addison Boverhuis, Kolbrin Farwell, Ezekiel Ferebee, Emily Koster, Haylee Plager, Ryan Plager, Ainsely Rauner, Isabella Seitz, and Lilah Yunghans. Pawnee City's high school runner for the day, sophomore Cael Johnson, ran a time of 24:18 for a 5k.
The next meet was held at Fairbury on Thursday Sept. 7.
