On Friday, October 16, Pawnee City students, teachers, and community members attend the Homecoming pep rally at the gymnasium. The day progressed with dodgeball and the coronation at the end of the day.
The seniors hosted their final Homecoming pep rally. There were several games, including Hungry Hippo, Wig Snatch, and the plunger relay. For the seniors and their parents' game, each senior put shaving cream on their parent's head and threw cheese balls to see how many would stick; the team with the most cheese balls won. Kinsley and Kody Benson won.
The junior high students started the dodgeball tournament with sixth grade facing off against the seventh grade. With a score of 2-1, seventh grade won and advanced to the championship against the eighth graders. The eighth-grade students defeated seventh grade and won the junior high tournament.
The high school tournament began with freshmen vs juniors and seniors vs sophomores. The freshmen and seniors won both their rounds and advanced to the championship. The juniors defeated the sophomores in the consolation game and got third. After a close game of dodgeball, the seniors ended up winning the championship.
The 2026 Pawnee City coronation took place following the football game against Sterling. Madelyn Osborne and Cael Johnson came back to crown the new king and queen.
