speech

On March 15, the speech team performs for the public at Old Guys Brew, so people in town can watch. When asked if she liked performing there, Mrs. Laura Bloss replied: “We loved performing at Old Guys!” She mentioned that it was packed but had a much more fun vibe than the school's individual classrooms. Mrs. Bloss also said that the fact that people could order drinks and eat snacks just made everything better. When asked how many people came, she mentioned she didn't know the exact number, but if she had to guess, she’d say 100!

On March 16, the speech team traveled to Raymond Central to compete in District Speech. Mrs. Bloss said that there were nine teams in D1. When asked if she thought this was the team's best performance, she mentioned, “I think it was our best overall finish. We’re peaking at the right time, which is always the best way to go in a season.” Pawnee City had 11 kids make it to state!
