2012-2013 Boys Basketball Season Ends with a Record of 20-6.

A winner is someone who recognizes his talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses those skills to accomplish his goals. The PCHS Indians boys basketball team finished their season with a 20-6 record.

When Points, Records and Baskets Don’t Count.

Last night the Pawnee City Indian boys and girls played Weeping Water in a Basketball Jamboree. The games were only played by the varsity girls and varsity boys no lower level was permitted. This is the first time that Pawnee City Public School has participated in a Jamboree.

The Indians Come Out on Top Against the Lourdes

Friday October 12th, the Pawnee City Indians gained another victory over the Nebraska City Lourdes updating their season to a 3-4. The game was an even match throughout the 1st and 2nd quarter, with the Lourdes scoring the first touchdown of the game, and Senior Devon Marteney retaliating with the first touchdown for the Indians.

Indians Get Their First Win of the Season

The Pawnee City football team turned the tables on the Friend Bulldogs Friday night, winning their first game of the season. After the Bulldogs scored the first few touchdowns, leading the game, Senior Devon Marteney was able to break through and score the first touchdown for the Indians. The Indian’s pulled through and took the lead in the second quarter.

Lady Indians place 2nd in the Axtell Tournament

On Saturday, September 22, the Pawnee City Varsity Volleyball Team competed in the Axtell Invitational Tournament. There were eight teams in this tournament including Pawnee City. The tournament is organized first with “pool play”, then the top 2 in each pool compete in a single elimination tournament.
