Jesse Blanchard’s Senior Biography

     Jesse Blanchard is the son of Amanda and Jesse Blanchard Sr. Jesse has five younger siblings, Dylan, Ethan, Zackary, Aluxis Lund and Anthony Lund. Jesse’s states that his plans for college are to attend culinary school to become a chef. He chose a chef because he likes “cooking for a crowd and cooking for his family”
     One of Jesse’s most memorable elementary memories was going to UNL. He enjoyed seeing the football stadium and “pretending like he was one of the big kids on campus”. He thought the museum was “really cool and awe-inspiring”. His favorite exhibit was seeing the big mammoth as well.
    Jesse’s favorite memory of high school would be going to the prison. He said he enjoyed seeing how the prison is in real life. He also said it was very different than “how the tv portrayed it.” But his favorite was listening to the convicted felons talk about what they did and hear their side of the story.
     Jesse is involved in the Community Blood drive and helps out with Meals on Wheels and the Backpack program.  He is currently undecided on the exact college at but he does know he wants it to be in California.
