Cheney Cline’s Senior Biography
By Alexa Cline, Senior
Cheney Cline is the daughter of Nick and Dawn Cline, as well as the sister of Ian Slama, and Eli and Ann Cline. She will be the second child of the family to graduate from Pawnee City High School, and will be doing so with many great experiences under her belt.
This senior’s favorite elementary memory was reading the Junie B. Jones series in third grade, and her favorite high school memory is from just this last year. Having been so behind in trigonometry her junior year, Cheney was relieved after finally turning in most of her papers the last few days of school-- ending the year with a 96% in the class! Of course, she never allowed herself to get so behind in her favorite subject which is Advanced Biology. In fact, it’s her love for subjects like this that has lead Cheney to her decision of what to do post high school-- attend school at SCC in Beatrice and become an LPN.
For now; however, Cheney busies herself with many other activities inside her school and community. In high school, she has participated in track, volleyball, play production, band, jazz band, and chorus. On top of this, the senior also balances plenty of work outside of school, as well. Cheney has given blood, helped put up flags, assisted someone in their Eagle Scout project involving community service, and currently works at both Subway and the Pawnee City Manor.
