The team of Jack McCulloch, Alex Menninga, Tyler Gyhra, Alex Gyhra and Trevor Gyhra ran in the Rock Port Cross Country Invite on September 30th. The team placed second out of eight teams.
Jack McCulloch placed first with the time of 17:18. Alex Menninga placed third with the time of 18:43. Tyler Gyhra placed 16th with the time of 20:31. Alex Gyhra placed 24th with the time of 21:33, and Trevor Gyhra placed 31st with the time of 22:08. There were 66 male runners overall. This week the runners will compete in the Fall City invite on October 9th.
New to the team this year is Jack McCulloch. He recently came here from Utah. He has been running since his freshman year. Comparing the competition in Utah and the competition here, Utah is more fierce. Jack stated, “At state last year I would have placed 23rd overall, in the state of Utah with a time of 16:10:13, the fastest time ran that day was a 15:05:68.”
