Samantha Laue’s Senior Biography
By Paige Freeman, Junior
Samantha “Sam” Laue is the daughter of Leland and Sonya Laue. She also has an older sister Tia who currently lives in Kansas City.
Sam is one of many PCHS students who can’t wait to take off for college after high school. She is currently registered at Southeast Community College in Lincoln for the Early Childhood Development Program. After she finishes up her years at SCC, she hopes to have her own daycare or work with young children.
Here at PCHS, she is involved in FFA, Band, Jazz Band, and is apart of our Journalism staff. She enjoys baking treats, spending time with family, shopping, roadtripping, farming with the Freeman’s, and she also enjoys being outside. She likes working with animals, like her calves, “Brownie”, “Cupcake”, and “Bully”.
When Sam was asked about what memories she has from her time here at Pawnee City she remembers her childhood growing up with Blake Moser and the food fight that she was involved in in 4th grade. Her high school memories include spending time with Lexie and Karli, becoming close with Paige, and making many trips to Lincoln during track days with Jon, Nicole, Lexie, and Ashley.
Sam believes that both Mr. Jacobs and Mrs. Moser have been an influence on her time spent here at PCHS. Mr. Jacobs spent time looking at culinary schools with her when she was interested in that degree. She likes how he is involved with every student at school. Sam quotes “Mrs. Moser is like a second mom to me.” Mrs. Moser has always been close to Sam, ever since she was a little girl.
